![]() For some reason, the default detection for the audio jack was set to headphones, so I had to change that to headset and BADABING!! It started working. ![]() I made sure that the proper drivers were installed from the manufacturer's website ( ), and opened up Realtek Audio Console. If found try to install them and check if the issue persists. Step 2: I suggest you to access the Realtek website, search if there are any HD Codecs to your device. Thanks to SnooCapers1500, I was able to finally figure out the issue. However, when I plug my headset into the headphone jack, it won't detect the microphone and the laptop will continue using the built-in microphone in the laptop.
